Hi, My name is Bobbi-Jo and my partner’s name is Rohan and we are the parents of the two beautiful Ninjas April Lynn and Rachel Elena. This blog is in regards to our journey of the pregnancy and what we had to deal with in regards to having Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome Stage 3 and also with Restricted Growth. We live in country WA, so we had to travel6 hours to Perth for a scan every Friday, so that our girls can have the specialist care to ensure that they both survive and be with us. We had to undergo Fetal Laser Surgery at 15 weeks to ensure that the girls had a fighting chance and then Twin 2 (Rachel) had the restricted growth.

The following blogs are my essays, that I emailed out to make sure I got everything off my chest and it helped me to cope with the stress and keep my head in a happy place. It also helped to tell everyone at once and not ring every person in our family and miss telling certain things. I wanted to put these out in the world wide web, for everyone to read, so if you are going through this same heart wrenching journey, then you can find some comfort and hope that things will work out for the best. I also tried to find something like this so that I could get through this journey but I could only find one page blogs and that really did not help me at all.

Please note, that we are not medical people nor have medical backgrounds, everything that we say, is in our own perceptions and views, even regards to the doctors that we had to deal with. We are very thankful to the Gold team that we had looking after us at King Edward Memorial Hospital and will forever be grateful to them for our girls.
